Getting around locally

Flying in and out

U-Tapao handles a mix of domestic and international routes, though its schedule is smaller than Bangkok's main airports — for many travellers it's still worth checking directly against flying into Suvarnabhumi or Don Muang and driving the motorway link, especially while U-Tapao's own route network is still growing. Either way, the drive from Ban Chang to any of the three airports is manageable by regional standards (more on U-Tapao's development).
